武道とスポーツの違い！ 山本敏雅先生 拳法会の論文のテーマに「武道とスポーツの違い」がありましたがある空手の先生が言っていました！

勝った！負けた原因は、色々あるかもしれないが
基本的には、
1.自分の努力不足！
2.稽古不足！
3.技量不足！
自分が原因となる！
自分をもっと鍛えよう！と思うのが武道だとある空手の先生が言っていました！と話をした。

【武道と言う言葉の起源から武道学を考える。】 世界拳法会連盟 大橋千秋
武道と言う文字が書物として登場したのが大道寺友山（1639-1730）の「武道初心集」であるこの書は、兵法や儒学の教えを初心者（武士の子供むけ）に武士道の教育書として用いられた。武道初心集の武道とは、武士道のことである。
「武士道とは死ぬことと見つけたり」で知られる「葉隠武士道」（1716年頃）は、廃れ行く武士道を嘆き佐賀藩、山本常朝が口述したものを同藩士田代陣基が筆録まとめたものである。
武道初心集にも葉隠武士道ほど激しい言葉でないが「常に死を思い生をまっとうすべし」「戦場と思えば、骨惜しみは出来ぬはず」「武士は、死に際が大切なり」「兵法の修業は徹底的に行え」とあり共に常在戦場の教育書である。

The character Budo first appeared in a book in Daidouji Yuzan's (1639-1730) "Budo Shoshinshu." This book was used as an educational book on Bushido to beginners (children of samurai) about military strategy and Confucianism. The Budo in Budo Shoshinshu refers to Bushido.
"Hagakure Bushido" (around 1716), known for the line "Bushido is death," was written down by Saga clan samurai Tashiro Jinki after Yamamoto Tsunetomo, a samurai of the Saga clan, dictated the words of the samurai, lamenting the decline of Bushido.
Although the Budō Shoshinshu does not contain as harsh words as Hagakure Bushido, it does state, "Always think of death and live life to the fullest," "If you think of it as a battlefield, you should not be sparing any effort," "For a samurai, the moment of death is important," and "Train military arts thoroughly," making it an educational book for those who are always on the battlefield.
