　それと爪甲礼（そこうれい）

爪甲礼は、拳法会の居合では、胡坐のときの礼法です。

PS:小笠原流礼法の座礼である九品礼のなかの爪甲礼(そこうれい)　 現代も武家茶道ではこの座礼・爪甲礼を用いる　肩幅で拳を握り親指の先と人差し指第二関節を床に付ける礼法

　空手の拳を握っての礼とは違います。50年以上？随分前にフルコンタクト空手の先生に国士舘大の中島たけし先生が聞きました。その礼は、爪甲礼だろ！でも、ちょっと違うね。空手の先生は、爪甲礼のつもりで礼法を決めたのだけど「間違えちゃた！みんなこれでやってるからいいや！」

In Kenpo Kai's Iaido, the sokourei is the etiquette when sitting cross-legged.

PS: The sokourei is one of the nine levels of etiquette in the seated bow of the Ogasawara-ryu etiquette. Even today, this seated bow and sokourei are used in samurai tea ceremony. The etiquette is to make your fists shoulder-width apart and place the tip of your thumb and the second joint of your index finger on the floor.

It's different from the clenched fist bow in karate. More than 50 years ago? I asked my practical karate teacher. The etiquette was, "It's the sokourei!" But it's a little different, isn't it? The karate teacher decided on the etiquette with the intention of making it the sokourei, but he said, "I made a mistake! Everyone does it like this, so it's fine!"
