武道の始まり【神 話】
古事記：天孫降臨（てんそんこうりん）する前に、出雲の国の大己貴命（おおくにぬしのみこと）と国分けをした「経津主命（ふつぬしのみこと：香取神宮）」と「武甕槌命（たけみかづちのみこと：鹿島神宮）」が、十握剣（とつかの剣）を地に刺して談判したことが武道の始まりといわれこの二人の神様が「武神」と称される。

天照大御神(あまてらすおおみかみ)さまは、孫の邇々芸命(ににぎのみこと)に豊葦原水穂国(とよあしはらのみずほのくに)を治めさせようと考えられ、建御雷神(たけみかづちのかみ)と天鳥船神(あめのとりふねのかみ)に命じて、様子をうかがわせてみました。
2柱の神は、出雲の国の稲佐(いなさ)の浜に降ると、剣を抜き、その剣を波間に逆に刺して、切っ先の上にあぐらをくんで座ると、この国を治めている大国主神(おおくにぬしのかみ)に、この国を天神(あまつかみ)の御子(みこ)に譲るかどうかを問いました。
大国主神は自分の子どもの言代主神(ことしろぬしのかみ)と建御名方神(たけみなかたのかみ)がよいといえば、お譲りしましょうと答えました。

【歴 史】
源氏の氏神「八幡大菩薩（はちまんだいぼさつ）」を鎌倉幕府が崇拝したのが始まりと称される。

The beginning of Budo武道
[Myth]
Kojiki: Before the descent of the heavenly grandson, Futsunushi no Mikoto (Katori Shrine) and Takemikazuchi no Mikoto (Kashima Shrine), who divided the land with Okuninushi no Mikoto of Izumo Province, stabbed the sword into the ground and negotiated. This is said to be the beginning of martial arts, and these two gods are called "Bushin武神."
Amaterasu Omikami wanted her grandson Ninigi no Mikoto to rule the land of Toyoashihara no Mizuho, so she ordered Takemikazuchi no Kami and Ame no Torifune no Kami to check on the situation.
The two gods descended to the beach of Inasa in Izumo, drew their swords, stuck them upside down into the waves, sat cross-legged on the tip of the sword, and asked Okuninushi no Kami, who ruled the land, whether he would hand over the land to the son of the heavenly god.

It is said to have begun when the Kamakura Shogunate worshipped Hachiman Daibosatsu, the clan deity of the Minamoto clan.

御祭神は経津主大神（ふつぬしのおおかみ）で、武術の神様。
