今日は、文化の日でお休みですが齋藤先生の音頭で集まり楽しく稽古しました。
森口先生の魚屋さんに外国の方がたくさん来たそうです。そしたらお店の人は、横を向いたり知らないふりをしていましたが森口先生は、拳法会にいるので「常に外国の人と稽古しています。そこで、あなたの国に沢山、友達がいるというと意気投合して沢山買ってくれました。拳法会には、国境がなく世界にFamilyがいていろいろな団体の寄せ集めの組織ではありません“多文化和約”の素晴らしい場所だと思います。」と話をした。
Although today is a public holiday—Culture Day—we gathered for a fun training session, organized by Saitō-sensei. Moriguchi-sensei shared an anecdote: many foreigners visited the fish shop where he works. While the other staff members looked away or pretended not to notice, Moriguchi-sensei—drawing on his experience with Kenpō kai—spoke up. He told them, "I train with people from other countries all the time, and I have many friends in your homelands." This immediately struck a chord, and they ended up making a large purchase. Kenpō kai transcends national borders; it is a global family—not merely a hodgepodge of various disparate groups, but a wonderful space defined by "multicultural harmony."
