名古屋市瑞穂区穂波小学校近辺は、乗用車の窓下まで水が冠水し、夕方になる前に小学校も冠水！伝馬武道教室拳法会(火)の稽古は中止！大橋千秋師範は、降雨量は、200~300mm/hに達するので道路、河川の区別をなくし道路を河川活用できる計画構造にしなくてはならない！

 　大橋千秋師範は、ずいぶん前に浜松市の地球温暖化防止活動推進センターのセンター長をやっていたことがありその時の話は、恐竜時代は、CO2は、現在の地球（約427 ppm）から1000ppm～7000 ppmへの上昇は、約16倍（2の4乗倍、つまり4回の倍増）気温は、12～16℃高くなり降雨量は、200~300mm/hに達するので道路、河川の区別をなくし道路を河川活用できる計画構造にしなくてはならないと提言していた。

　名古屋市瑞穂区穂波小学校近辺は、乗用車の窓下まで水が冠水し、夕方になる前に小学校も冠水！伝馬武道教室拳法会(火)の稽古は中止になりました　夜には水は引きましたが、水に浸かって故障車が道のあちこちに停まっていたので名古屋市内は大渋滞でした　我が家の近所は膝上まで浸水してる箇所が沢山ありました夕方には名古屋市交通局すべて終日運休、名鉄も運休　静流は名駅から徒歩で帰宅　Mikuは帰宅中、バスが運休となり大きな商業施設へ避難。　雨が上がり迎えに行きました。市バスは運休の無線が運転士に入ると、その場で停車し、全員下車させるそうです。（雨がひどく、冠水してても）　「お客様を乗せて走っちゃダメ！」と言われるそうです？？　バスに閉じ込められ、事故にあうと問題になるからだそうです。これだけの災害で死者が出なかったのは良いことでした。

A report from Nishimura-sensei: Near Honami Elementary School, floodwaters rose as high as the windows of passenger cars, and the school itself was flooded before evening; consequently, Tuesday's practice session was cancelled. Although the water receded by nightfall, the city of Nagoya was gridlocked with traffic due to stalled, water-damaged vehicles left all over the roads. In my own neighborhood, there were many spots where the water rose above knee level.

By evening, all Nagoya City Transportation Bureau services were suspended for the day, and Meitetsu lines had also stopped running. Shizuru walked home from Nagoya Station. While Miku was on her way home, bus services were suspended, so she took shelter in a large commercial complex; I went to pick her up after the rain let up.

Apparently, when city bus drivers receive a radio notification to suspend service, they must stop right where they are and have all passengers disembark—even if the rain is torrential or the area is flooded. They are strictly told, "You must not drive with passengers on board!" This is to avoid the complications that would arise if passengers were trapped on the bus and involved in an accident.

It is a relief that there were no fatalities despite such a severe disaster.
